From an impulse to a passion
My journey into raising chickens and selling farm fresh eggs began with a simple love for animals. I had always dreamed of owning a flock, and one day, while walking through Tractor Supply, I heard the sweet chirps of baby chicks. It was an impulse I couldn't resist. I immediately bought four, and a month later, went back to buy 4 more.
Our chickens, our family
While our "employees" all have their unique names and personalities, what truly sets them apart is the love and care they receive. Each chicken is a cherished member of our farm, treated with kindness and fed delicious treats daily. They enjoy fresh fruit and table scraps on the daily. Any of our food waste goes directly to their beaks. They even eat their own dehydrated egg shells.
Natural eggs, naturally delicious
Our eggs are unique compared to store-bought eggs. You may notice the yolks are a more vibrant orange color, which is because they are fresh, laid within the last week, and are not pasteurized. Our chickens are raised by us, not injected with hormones or routine antibiotics, and our eggs are taken directly from the coop. Their diverse diet, including vegetables and table scraps, also contributes to the rich color of your yolk. The eggs do not come washed, preserving the natural "bloom" that allows them to be kept on the counter for weeks. If you wash this bloom off, they may be kept in the fridge for about a month.
