Welcome to Just Got Laid
Discover farm-fresh eggs from our happy, home-raised chickens right in the heart of Downtown Willoughby. Our commitment to natural practices ensures you receive eggs of the highest quality, straight from our coop to your table.
Farm-fresh eggs and proper storage
Our unpasteurized eggs come directly from our chicken coop, laid by chickens we've raised ourselves, free from hormones or routine antibiotics. Understanding how to store them is key to enjoying their freshness.
The protective bloom
Our eggs are not washed, retaining a natural protective coating called the "bloom." This allows them to be stored safely on your counter for weeks, maintaining their freshness and quality.
Washing and storage
If you choose to wash the bloom off your eggs, they should then be kept in the refrigerator afterwards, where they will remain fresh for about a month.
Identifying a rotten egg
Since our eggs are unpasteurized, there's a small chance of encountering a rotten egg. If an egg has a strange appearance or an unusual smell, it should not be consumed.
Preparation before eating
For all eggs, regardless of how they are stored, simply rinse them off with water just before you plan to eat them. This ensures cleanliness and safety.
"The freshest eggs I've ever tasted, and knowing they come from happy, well-cared-for chickens makes all the difference!"
